Montana

Another trip West. This time five of us..Liz Lindsey, Tom, Darien and I. We took the train to Glacier National Park. Corsan and Nick flew and met us there. We spent the first night at the lodge which is an old building from many years ago. Beautiful view of the lake and the mountains.

The next day we moved to an A-frame house near where we planned to ride the rapids again. Of course, we went many times and enjoyed it each time. The kids had fun falling off and playing in the water.

Corsan cooked for us and we saw much flora and fauna from the window of our house. I think Tom tried to feed a deer that appeared one morning.

The kids and Corsan went mountain climbing. I found a nice rock and read my book. Good to have another adult around.
Nick and Corsan flew home and the rest of us took the train..The kids did not like the train. Said it took too long to get anywhere. On the way, the train stopped because there was something on the tracks…thus delaying our journey.
